Our organization is seeking a skilled Horticultural Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and gardens of our properties.

The ideal candidate will have experience in horticulture and maintenance work. You will be required to perform tasks such as mowing, pruning, weeding, and waste management.

A strong focus on customer service is essential, as you will be interacting with residents and providing support where needed.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with shifts running from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Key responsibilities include:

* Maintenance of common garden areas including mowing, whipper snipping, weeding, pruning, picking up leaves/rubbish, green waste management, and tools/equipment maintenance.
* Customer-service focused approach while performing daily gardening activities.

Requirements:
">
* Demonstrated competence as a Gardener – weeding, pruning, planting, mowing.
* Experience in General Maintenance works.
* Understanding of machinery use and tools required for the job.
* High organisation skills and the ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks whilst working independently.
* Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety legislation.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one).
* Genuine interest in assisting the elderly.
