Job Title: Mining Services Business Development Lead
Are you a results-driven professional with a strong network within the mining industry? We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across our Mining Services division, with a particular focus on site-based projects.
This pivotal role involves identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our presence across the mining sector, with a strong focus on the Bowen Basin and secondary focus on the Northern Queensland mining hubs, and the Hunter Valley region.
The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of site operations and contracting environments, and a proven ability to secure and deliver large-scale service contracts. This includes developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients, working closely with company divisions to identify opportunities that deliver a competitive advantage, and implementing business development strategies to grow revenue across site-based mining services projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients
* Building and managing a sustainable pipeline of long-term contracts

* Conduct regular site visits and client meetings to understand operational challenges and propose tailored service solutions
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging project opportunities
Requirements:
* Proven track record in business development or sales within mobile equipment services, fleet management, heavy equipment, or related industries
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-driven mindset
* Strong understanding of mechanical or technical service environments
* Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
