Business Analyst Role at Leidos
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a multi-year Defence program focused on delivering an enterprise Health Knowledge Capability. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, software developers, and healthcare professionals to gather requirements, analyze workflows, produce user stories, and contribute to system design and implementation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes and healthcare technology, including clinical workflows, data security, and relevant standards such as FHIR, HL7, and SNOMED CT.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to gather, document, and translate complex clinical and business requirements into software solutions.
* Lead requirements analysis, workflow optimization, and stakeholder engagement through workshops and interviews.
* Facilitate agile development processes, including user story creation, sprint planning, and backlog management.
* Conduct gap analyses, feasibility studies, and system testing to ensure solutions meet operational and clinical needs.
* Develop documentation and support change management initiatives, keeping abreast of healthcare technology trends and regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare or clinical software environments.
* Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Knowledge of healthcare data security, privacy standards, and industry certifications.
* Understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical terminology, and standards (FHIR, HL7, SNOMED CT).
* Ability to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
