St Louis Home Care – Government-approved and private support at home care provider

St Louis Allied Health – Covering both Metro and Fly in Fly Out (FIFO) allied health services supporting South Australian communities
Role: Dietitian
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Dietitian to join our allied health team. This role supports participants in residential care, the support at home program, including those accessing the Restorative Care Pathway, and extends to NDIS participants, including children and individuals with early onset dementia. You will work within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver nutritional care that promotes recovery, wellbeing, and independence. You will also oversee the delivery and suitability of premade, nutritionally appropriate meals, ensuring they meet individual dietary needs and comply with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
The role includes travel across metropolitan Adelaide, regional visits to Victor Harbor, FIFO travel to Port Lincoln and surrounding towns.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct nutritional assessments and develop personalised care plans.
Recommend and monitor appropriate nutrition supplements (e.g. oral nutritional support, high-protein snacks, thickened fluids).
Provide education on healthy eating, chronic disease management, and meal preparation.
Assess and approve premade meal options to meet dietary, cultural, and medical needs.
Liaise with meal providers to ensure quality and nutritional adequacy.
Collaborate with Restorative Care Partners and MDT members including nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and GPs.
Provide nutritional support to NDIS participants, including children and clients with early onset dementia.
Travel to client homes and service hubs across Adelaide, Victor Harbor, and Port Lincoln (FIFO as required).
Requirements
Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with relevant tertiary qualifications.
Experience in aged care, community health, and disability services preferred.
Current National Police Clearance.
Working with Children Check (WWCC).
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regionally and interstate (FIFO).
