**Accounts Payable Specialist Position Overview**

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team as an Accounts Payable Officer, where you will be responsible for processing invoices, expenses, and queries, while providing excellent support to internal and external stakeholders.
About the Role:
* Creating new vendors and maintaining existing vendor master data
* Reviewing, coding, and processing invoices and employee expenses;
* Credit cards reconciliations;
* Prepare payment run proposals and review accuracy.
* Management of shared AP Mailboxes.
* Reviewing unassigned invoices and routing them to the correct departments/clinics for approval;
* Regular reconciliation of vendor accounts, with particular attention to large and wholesaler vendors.
* Supporting month-end preparations and booking of bank rec outstanding items.
* Ad Hoc project work and reporting as and when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with:
* A Diploma or degree in Accounting or related disciplines.
* Demonstrated accounts payable experience 2-5 years.
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, communication skills (Written & verbal) and problem-solving skills.
* Be resilient and adaptable.
* Have exceptional attention to detail.
* Be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
* Be self-motivated, proactive and have a 'can do' attitude.
* Demonstrated high-level computer skills and competency in the use of Microsoft Office package, particularly MS-Excel.
* Experience in fast paced high volume accounts payable.
* Experience using Pronto, Navision and/or SAP/Concur.
* Experience with multi business/geographies-based companies, and familiar with NZ and AU GST and accounting requirements.
