Job Description
Mergent Group are supporting the workforce of a tier one, National electrical contractor. We are seeking two capable Electrical Supervisors to join our team for a long-term role project envolvement. This project is a major Greenfields Electrical and Instrumentation construction package within BHP's Olympic Dam operation in South Australia.
In this role, you will:
* Undertake project-specific tasks as appropriate and directed to you by the Superintendent.
* Leading a Team of Leading Hands and Electricians
* Lead by example for all Safety on site
* Report task status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope and quality, when required
* Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology
* Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities
The successful candidate will have:
* Minimum 3 years experience in a Supervisory role
* Current Australian State Electrical Licence (eligible for South Australian registration through Mutual Recognition)
* CPR/LVR (within last 12 months)
* Construction White Card
* Current Driver's Licence
Desirable Requirements:
* Prior mining or heavy industrial construction experience
* Working at Heights
* High Risk Work Licence (WP)
* Instrumentation, commissioning, or fault-finding experience
Employment Conditions:
* Camp accommodation and meals provided
* Return flights covered ex-Adelaide
* 12-hour shifts, 14 days ON & 7 days OFF
* Must complete pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening, and be open to holding a current National Police Clearance
* Paid weekly
