About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team.
In this role, you will provide expert financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
You will work closely with managers to deliver accurate monthly reports, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and Council policies.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports and variance analysis
Support managers with budgeting and forecasting processes
Contribute to annual reporting, including performance statements
Manage investment portfolio in line with policy and cash flow requirements
Ensure data integrity and recommend system enhancements
Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and processes
About You
CPA or equivalent accounting qualification
3–5 years' experience in financial/management accounting
Strong technical accounting knowledge and statutory reporting expertise
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., TechnologyOne)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
