Group Risk Manager – Kinetic

Role Overview
Reporting to the Group General Counsel, the Group Risk Manager will strengthen enterprise risk, governance and compliance capability across our ANZ operations. The role requires a commercially minded self‑starter who builds fit‑for‑purpose frameworks, loves process and governance, and partners closely with the business to enable confident, well‑informed decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the practical rollout and embedding of Kinetic's Enterprise Risk Management Framework across ANZ.
* Translate risk frameworks into workable processes that support commercial outcomes and operational performance.
* Partner with business leaders to integrate risk and governance into day‑to‑day decision‑making.
* Maintain and evolve the Enterprise Risk Register to reflect business priorities and emerging risks.
* Deliver clear, concise and commercially relevant risk reporting to senior leadership, Board committees and external stakeholders.
* Act as the central escalation point for enterprise and emerging risk matters across the group.
* Facilitate risk assessments, workshops and engagement across operations and corporate functions.
* Work closely with the Transformation Team and subject‑matter experts to uplift policies, controls and compliance maturity.
* Lead the ongoing review of enterprise risk and compliance policies, including modern slavery, ABAC, privacy, whistleblowing, sanctions and third‑party due diligence.
* Promote a strong safety, risk and governance culture aligned to Kinetic's HSEQ obligations.
Qualifications
* 5+ years' experience in risk management, governance, compliance or legal roles.
* Proven experience operating within complex, multi‑site organisations.
* Strong working knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks and ANZ regulatory environments.
* Commercially astute, with the ability to balance risk management with business enablement.
* Highly process‑driven and comfortable building structure where it does not yet exist.
* Interdependent by nature, able to work autonomously while partnering closely with stakeholders.
* Confident self‑starter who shows initiative and drives outcomes without constant direction.
* Excellent collaboration, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
