Deliver frontline mental health care in Redland Hospital ED.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct mental health assessments and provide therapeutic interventions.
Support care planning and discharge processes in a fast-paced ED setting.
Collaborate with ED, MSAMHS and community services to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to clinical reporting.
Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions.
Support supervision and education of students and allied health assistants.
About You
You are an adaptable and empathetic clinician who thrives in acute environments and is passionate about timely mental health care.
You bring strong communication skills, sound clinical judgement and a collaborative approach to consumer care.
You Will Demonstrate
Experience in mental health assessment and intervention.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for complex presentations.
Ability to prioritise workload and manage clinical demand in ED.
Commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based practice.
Willingness to participate in education, supervision and service improvement.
