Sales Development Representative (SDR)
function.
About the Role
This is a
phone-first, outbound sales role
focused on
booking qualified meetings
for our Directors and Business Development Managers.
You won't be quoting or managing the full sales cycle on day one – your job is to:
Open doors, start conversations, and book high-quality meetings with decision-makers.
You'll be:
Calling Australian importers and exporters using our proven Neolink cold calling script and training.
Introducing Neolink's story, awards, and technology to build credibility quickly.
Booking meetings into the calendars of our Directors and BDMs.
Joining those meetings to learn the industry and build your commercial skillset.
This role is the
entry point into our commercial team
and is designed as a clear
pathway into a Business Development Manager (BDM)
role over time.
Key Responsibilities
Make proactive outbound calls, emails and LinkedIn outreach to targeted prospects.
Book
qualified meetings
with senior decision-makers (Owners, GMs, Ops / Logistics leaders).
Use our frameworks to qualify opportunities (fit, volume, pain points) before booking.
Clearly position Neolink's value proposition, including our awards, technology, and customer experience.
Log all activities, notes and outcomes accurately in our systems.
Work closely with the Directors and BDMs to prepare for and follow up on meetings.
Continually refine talk tracks, objection handling and outreach based on feedback and results.
About You
You'll thrive in this role if you:
Have
proven experience in cold calling and appointment setting
(any B2B industry - logistics experience is a bonus, not a requirement).
Are confident on the phone, comfortable speaking with senior leaders and business owners.
Enjoy KPI-driven, results-focused environments where activity and outcomes are visible.

Are organised and disciplined with follow-up and CRM notes.
