As part of this management and manufacturing job in the hospitality industry, you will work alongside colleagues who believe in building relationships with associates, partners, and community members.
1. Greet guests warmly, explain menu items using concise language and descriptive phrases
2. Listen attentively to guest requests and respond promptly
3. Ensure all kitchen, storage, and front-of-house areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
4. Prepare breakfast items using standard recipes and equipment
5. Manage stock levels, provide order requirements to the manager, and receive deliveries to ensure correct quantities match paperwork
6. Maintain food preparation according to local health department regulations and standards
7. Engage guests throughout their stay with friendly, caring interactions
8. Assist guests with requests as needed
9. Comply with health and safety regulations, interacting with contacts such as:
* Guests - focusing on total satisfaction
* Owners/Principals - regarding operational updates and issues
* Vendors - resolving performance issues or discrepancies
* Regulatory agencies - addressing safety and compliance matters
* Other contacts as necessary (Professional organizations, community groups)
For this position, we are seeking individuals with a minimum of two years' experience in hotels, restaurants, or related customer service fields.
* Experience as a server, busser, runner, host/hostess, or similar preferred
* Certifications such as ServSafe or TIPS Certification may be required
* Proficiency in spoken English is essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Mathematical skills should include basic math concepts, percentages, and variances, with problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational abilities frequently used
* Ability to multitask effectively
