What Our Nurses Love About Working Here
Opportunities to get ahead: Develop broader holistic care skills across physical, mental, and social wellbeing. Further train, qualify, specialise or take on early leadership roles. With job transfers and promotions on offer, you'll get ahead in ways that set you apart in the industry.
Managers that support you: We've built a culture that has each other's back. A community that values teamwork over ego and wellbeing over workload. You'll find managers that back your ideas and fill in on off-days or when staff are short.
One team, united in our purpose: We support older people to have great lives. We put older people first in everything we do. We help them age with dignity, independence, happiness, and connectedness. On a big picture level, we're challenging ageist thinking in Australia. This is the Warrigal Way.
Who We Are
Warrigal has firmly established itself in the aged care community for over 60 years. Despite the diverse range of retirement living and aged care services we've built up in that time, we still have the same appetite to grow and innovate. You'll have the chance to move around, get promoted, or explore different areas across our expanding business in Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Queanbeyan, and Canberra – if that's what you want.
You Are the Difference
At Warrigal, you're not just doing care work. You're reshaping society to respect and celebrate ageing, connecting families, and freeing up their time to create treasured, lasting memories. You're creating a culture of kindness, compassion, and understanding that can be passed down to future generations. Let this be your legacy.
