About the Role
This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where no two days are the same. You'll be part of a small, friendly team ensuring that campers have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable stay along our foreshore.
Reporting to the Team Leader – Foreshore Camping, the core responsibilities include:
* Provide excellent customer service and assist campers with enquiries, bookings, and general administration tasks.
* Promote a positive camping experience by supporting visitors and addressing their needs.
* Monitor compliance with the Conditions of Camping, including site rules and safety requirements.
* Manage conflict and resolve issues in a fair, professional, and respectful manner.
* Work collaboratively with other Rangers and staff to maintain a welcoming and safe environment.
About You
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with people from all walks of life.
* Confident in managing compliance issues and applying conflict resolution skills when needed.
* Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Basic office and computer skills (reception and booking systems experience an advantage).
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, during the camping season.
