The Visiting Volunteer program is designed to support older Australians who live in an aged care facility or their own home and who are lonely or socially isolated.
We match volunteers with older people, either one-on-one or in a small group, to provide friendship and companionship improving their wellbeing and social connection.
* Making regular social visits to an older person at an agreed day and time. We take into account the individual needs of each volunteer as well as those of the clients they will be supporting so that everyone has a positive experience from this opportunity .
