Overview
Our client is a large global corporation operating in the infrastructure and construction sector. With a strong international presence and a commitment to financial excellence, they offer a dynamic environment where technical expertise and leadership are valued. This role sits within a high-performing finance team and supports group-level reporting across multiple entities.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close and prepare consolidated financial reporting packs for global headquarters.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
- Manage the preparation of annual statutory reports across multiple entities.
- Coordinate external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information.
- Oversee governance of balance sheet and subledger reconciliations across local and overseas entities.
- Review and post journal entries, approve payment runs and bank transfers.
- Present weekly cash flow and debtor reports to senior leadership and respond to global treasury queries.
- Champion internal controls and financial governance across the group.
- Drive continuous improvement and capability development.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications
About You
- CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- 10+ years' experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and audit within large multinational organisations.
- Strong understanding of multicurrency balance sheets and intercompany reconciliations.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with international stakeholders.
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure.
