About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join the maintenance and construction team working on one of Australia's most iconic infrastructure assets - The Harbour Bridge.
This hands-on role is based at the South Pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and will involve carpentry works that contribute directly to the safety, upkeep, and longevity of this landmark.
$48.38/hour + super 8.5 hours/day, 76 hours/fortnight, 9-day fortnight Contract length: 4 months, high potential for extension depending on the project.
Tickets: White Card WOF (Workplace of Fitness/Function) C Class Driver's Licence or above Police Check (can commence before clearance; subject to termination if adverse findings arise) Key Responsibilities Perform carpentry works, including repairs, maintenance, and new construction as required.
Work with timber, formwork, and other materials to maintain structural integrity.
Operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely and effectively.
Collaborate with other trades and team members to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.
Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with engineering specifications and strict safety standards.
About You Trade qualification/licence in Carpentry (mandatory).
Demonstrated carpentry experience, preferably within large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
Knowledge of formwork, joinery, and structural carpentry techniques.
Strong adherence to safety practices and ability to work at heights.
Team-oriented with strong communication and reliability.
