About the role
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you’ll oversee cleaning operations across Messes, kitchens, bars, and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Organise and assign cleaning tasks across the various areas, ensuring everything runs smoothly
- Set cleaning schedules, checklists and conduct audits to ensure high standards are met every time
- Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring cleaning tools, products and waste systems are working well and fully stocked
- Supervise staff, support their training and development, and handle any performance or conduct issues.
- Manage budgets and keep cleaning costs on track - reporting any changes or concerns to management.
- Combine your leadership skills and operational oversight to deliver high quality, efficient cleaning services.
- Manage the effective use of IT systems such as Deputy and iClean
About you
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar supervisory or cleaning role
- Certificate III in First Aid (advantageous)
- You are a safety-focused leader who drives accountability and continuous improvement. - Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Proficient in Windows-based office systems
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to compliance and safety
- Problem-solver with a drive for continual improvement
- Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police
