Join a growing global ifestyle brand and lead end-to-end production from our clients Sydney head office. We're looking for a hands‐on, detail‐driven leader with strong logistics and manufacturing experience to scale production operations and ensure global retailer programs run smoothly.
What you'll own
* Full production lifecycle for major global retailers (vendor onboarding, factory audits, item setup, product testing, inspections, bookings, invoicing).
* Delivery performance: ensure orders are delivered in full and on time, avoiding penalties.
* Leadership: manage and mentor two Production Managers based in Sydney and Shanghai.
* Stakeholder management: act as the operational link between retailers, factories and internal teams (Design, Sales, Finance, IT).
* Systems & improvement: support NetSuite ERP implementation and optimise production processes and controls.
* Compliance & quality: oversee product safety, factory audits and regulatory requirements.
* Continuous improvement: drive operational efficiency, risk mitigation and scalable processes as the division grows.
The successful candidate will demonstrate
* Experience in production or supply chain within consumer goods or mass retail.
* Proven experience working with major retailers (eg Kmart, Big W, ALDI, Costco, TJX) and using EDI/ASN processes.
* Strong experience managing factories in China across hard and soft goods.
* Solid knowledge of product development, manufacturing and international logistics.
* Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERPs.
* Exceptional attention to detail, organisation and problem‐solving skills.
* Collaborative, solutions‐focused leader comfortable in a fast‐paced environment.
