Freight Service Coordinator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freight Service Coordinator to join our logistics team.
This role is ideal for someone who has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with customers and internal departments to ensure clear communication and service delivery. They will also need to coordinate with transport operations staff regarding loading status and delays, ensuring timely updates to customers.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
* Liaising between customers and internal departments to ensure clear communication and service delivery.
* Coordinating with transport operations staff regarding loading status and delays, ensuring timely updates to customers.
* Communicating with dock supervisors to address loading/receiving priorities and issues.
* Scheduling and managing return freight unloads and loadouts in collaboration with transport operations.
* Resolving discrepancies related to freight and documentation.
* Managing customer pallet documentation, conducting weekly counts, and generating reports.
* Promoting and maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with OH S regulations and quality procedures.
* Fostering a collaborative and positive team culture.
Requirements:

* A high school diploma or equivalent, with relevant qualifications such as a certificate or degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
