Partnering with a highly reputable, global systems integrator is looking for an experienced Lead Project Engineer – Communication Systems to take ownership of engineering delivery and lead a small, high‐performing team in South Australia.
This is a senior, hands‐on leadership role where you'll remain close to the technical detail while providing structure, direction and governance across complex communications and infrastructure projects.
The role
* Lead and coordinate engineering delivery across the full lifecycle — design, procurement, configuration, testing, commissioning and handover
* Act as team lead for a small communications engineering group
* Drive engineering governance, design reviews and Safety in Design
* Own engineering program priorities, resourcing, deliverables and technical change
* Interface closely with project managers, operations, clients and senior stakeholders
* Mentor and develop engineers, supporting capability uplift and succession
What we're looking for
* Degree in Communications, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronic Engineering
* Eligibility for Engineers Australia (CPEng highly regarded)
* Extensive experience delivering communications systems and infrastructure projects
* Proven leadership experience within an EPC/EPCM or systems integration environment
* Strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management and decision‐making capability
