The Role
The Job Cost Analyst will be responsible for assisting in managing and controlling the country business, specifically for standard cost determination and control, cost accounting and billing and cost analysis. The position also supports in month-end close financial activities and works closely with the operation to understand risks and opportunities analyzing the impact in financial results as well as educate/inform departments on job cost divers and variances. Finally, the position also act as liaison with corporate financial staff, as required.
- Collect, analyze and determine costs of Business activities, such as the costs of product, AF OF & Local services, freights, vendors, operational cost and other direct/indirect overheads.
- Interact with Operations to ensure Billing and invoicing are accurate and up to date. Review and audit to ensure they reflect the latest cost analysis and P&L; estimation.
- Support and monitor cycle count development. Analyze areas to improve in costing.
- Analyze actual expenses, Product and costs against Budget, look for differences and research and explain variances. Report this information as needed.
- Work with the Finance controller to implement and apply cost accounting policies and procedures, as they are required.
- Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting Business profitability of products P&L.;
- Maintaining the financial system C1.
- Support Financial Planner in Budget/Forecasting process in relation with estimated costs, Inventory Valuation and Expense Analysis.
- Perform ad hoc reports to support the operations.
