An experienced and commercially driven Regional Sales Leader is sought to lead growth across a market-leading enterprise software portfolio within the energy and industrial sectors across Asia Pacific.
This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and executing go-to-market strategy, leading a high-performing regional sales team, and engaging closely with customers to secure complex, high-value software and services opportunities.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep domain experience in utilities or industrial technology, and a proven ability to build trusted relationships at executive level.
Role Responsibilities
* Lead and execute the regional sales strategy across Asia Pacific, driving order growth, revenue, and market expansion
* Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing, cross-cultural sales team in collaboration with technical and product stakeholders
* Drive complex deal cycles from identification through to closure, focusing on large-scale, transformational opportunities
* Establish and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key customers and prospective clients
* Operate effectively within a global, matrixed organisation to leverage technical, delivery, and functional expertise
* Maintain excellence in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and governance processes
* Represent the business at key industry events, conferences, and customer engagements
* Monitor market dynamics, regulatory changes, and funding trends to inform proactive sales strategies
* Take ownership of revenue targets, customer outcomes, and regional growth objectives
* Lead market and competitor analysis, contributing to strategic positioning and proposal development
* Influence commercial strategy across multiple markets, product lines, and customer segments
* Interpret business challenges and apply industry insight to improve commercial outcomes and sales effectiveness
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or scientific discipline (e.g. Engineering, Physics); postgraduate qualifications advantageous
* Extensive experience in enterprise sales, including leadership responsibility across the Asia Pacific region
* Strong background within the utilities, energy, or industrial technology sectors
* Demonstrated success in closing large, complex, multi-stakeholder deals
* Experience managing both new business acquisition and strategic account growth
* Exposure to multi-country sales environments, ideally across ANZ and parts of Southeast Asia
* Proven ability to operate in cross-cultural and matrixed organisations
* Strong commercial acumen, with an understanding of customer operations and market dynamics
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
