Patent Attorney / Trainee ((Electrical / ICT / Mechanical)

As a KEY member of the winning PATENTS team of this multi-award winning exponentially growing IP firm (led by some of Australia's most accomplished and internationally renowned IP specialists), you will enjoy the responsibility, stimulation, and challenge of advising local and international clients on a full spectrum of technical and commercial issues related to a diverse range of patents mainly within the ICT / electronics / software and mechanical engineering niches.
Key focus areas : drafting, prosecuting, and filing patents in Australia & overseas, advising on enforcement and validity issues.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you :
* are a fully qualified Australian / NZ patent attorney with a minimum of 6 months' plus post-qualification experience (or more, up to senior associate), or a trainee patent attorney currently studying for a Masters of IP to become qualified;
* have a degree or higher qualification in ENGINEERING (electrical and/or computer engineering, mechanical, mechatronics, automotive) and/or IT / COMPUTER SCIENCE or similar;
* have some hands-on experience in prosecuting / drafting patents and some opposition experience (preferable);
* have strong technical, analytical, and communication/people skills, along with strong commercial acumen;
