About the Opportunity
Due to a number of critical projects, we have an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst (BA) on a 12-month FTC to join the Food PMO team in the Metcash Food Pillar. You will be responsible for working with various Product Owners, IT Leads, and Business Stakeholders to define and develop Business requirements, End to End Business process solutions and designs including both Technical and UX elements of the solution.
Roles like this don’t come along very often and the successful candidate will join a very fast-growing dynamic FOOD team that’s transforming the way Metcash delivers on its Strategic Priorities and Growth aspirations.
In this Role
* As an experienced Business Analyst, you’ll be responsible for undertaking business analysis activities within a stream of work, across programs/projects in the Food PMO team within the Metcash Food pillar. You’ll work to ensure the successful completion of project deliverables to agreed schedule and quality, including:
* Requirements gathering and documentation activities to ensure both business and technical requirements are articulated at the necessary level of detail.
* Support with running discovery workshops to gather information and identify risks, benefits, and business implications.
* Understand and document business, people, and systems readiness plans, including testing, cutover, launch, and post-review.
* Working both independently and with the support of the project manager you will consistently ensure that necessary deliverables meet stakeholders' expectations.
* Develop effective working relationships with project team members & senior stakeholders – including with other Metcash business units and external parties (such as vendors).
You’re Likely a Match If
* You have proven experience as a Business Analyst working on Digital and eCommerce projects to provide business analysis services (minimum 2-3 years as a Digital BA).
* You’ll also have proven ability to manage competing priorities within tight timeframes and operate in a rapidly changing environment.
* Proven experience analysing processes and process mapping complex business processes to industry best practices.
* Demonstrated Knowledge and experience with online Digital Ecosystem and eCommerce Business Processes.
* Experience with Agile ways of working.
* Retail & FMCG experience would be beneficial.
