Base Salary: $114,348 - $138,391 (p.a.)

Total Effective Package: $138,949 - $167,805 (p.a.)*

Part Time Maximum Term Contract until 01 June 2027

About the role

The Paediatric Clinical Psychology Registrar is responsible for conducting cognitive assessments and recommending intervention strategies for Aboriginal children and young people with a range of neurodevelopmental disorders and complex conditions as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT).

Essential Requirements

* Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology with full registration with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or imminent completion of a master's degree or higher psychology and imminent eligibility to progress to full registration with AHPRA (within the next 3 months of the date of application).
* Current enrolment in the clinical psychology registrar program or imminent eligibility to enrol in the clinical psychology registrar program upon obtaining a suitable work role.
* Demonstrated experience in diagnostic assessments, case formulation and behavioural interventions.
* Demonstrated experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated experience in report writing and developing appropriate recommendations
* Awareness of Aboriginal culture within Australia's history, knowledge of cultural sensitivities and current issues affecting the lives of Aboriginal people in conjunction with a willingness to incorporate Aboriginal values into clinical practice.
* Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations.
