Role Overview
The SCM SDM is responsible for managing end-to-end service delivery for supply chain projects and operations. This role ensures adherence to SLAs, drives process improvements, and maintains strong client relationships while overseeing cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Service Delivery Management
* Own delivery of SCM services across planning, sourcing, logistics, and fulfillment.
* Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and governance frameworks.
* Client & Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as the primary point of contact for client escalations and service reviews.
* Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
* Operational Excellence
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives for cost optimization and efficiency.
* Implement best practices in supply chain processes and risk management.
* Lead and mentor delivery teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
* Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and IT teams for seamless execution.
* Compliance & Risk
* Ensure adherence to client-specific compliance requirements (e.g., TPRM).
* Mitigate operational risks and maintain audit readiness.
Required Skills & Experience
* Domain Expertise
* Strong knowledge of supply chain processes: Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return.
* Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 SCM, SAP).
* Leadership
* Proven experience in managing large delivery teams and complex projects.
* Technical & Analytical
* Ability to analyze SCM data for performance improvement.
* Communication
* Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
* Experience
* 10–20+ years in SCM and SDM roles, preferably in global delivery environments.
