Job Description
Our client is a world leading bottler and distributor of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages in Australia. The client has a national presence across five major states with multiple facilities including manufacturing and logistics. They are looking for highly skilled Security Officers with experience in gatehouse logistics and data entry to manage access into their facilities while observing and reporting on all security, transport, and property related matters.
Security team members at these locations play an important role in the logistical management, safety, and security of the site. As the first point of contact for visitors and staff when entering the facility, security officers need to leave a lasting impression of exceptional customer service.
This position is available in Mentone / Moorabbin – VIC for this particular client. Officers who have worked in Fast‐Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environments are encouraged to apply.
Casual Position – Successful applicants need to be available for a minimum of three or more weekdays, working 12‐hour shifts (6:00 AM–6:00 PM / 6:00 PM–6:00 AM).
Location – Successful applicants must be flexible to commute between Mentone and Moorabbin.
Key Tasks
* Provide a security service in line with the site SOPs and client's requirements to protect employees, property, and other assets.
* Deliver the highest levels of customer service, demonstrating Securitas' core values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness.
* Conduct site patrols, manage access control, and respond to incidents around the site.
* Greet visitors and employees, issue keys/cards to authorized contractors, and monitor their activities for safety and compliance.
* Protect people and property.
* Write reports and use Microsoft applications, including advanced Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Monitor and use CCTV application, emergency management, and fire systems.
* About 90% of the role involves data entry; computer proficiency is essential.
Minimum Requirement
* Must have a valid VIC security license.
* Current First Aid & CPR certification.
* Valid driver's license & car.
* Excellent communication skills; punctual and reliable.
* Ability to work independently, self‐aware, motivated, and as part of a team.
* Proactive while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
* Previous gatehouse experience is highly desirable but not compulsory.
