Your role in Our Vision
The Coordinator Cleansing Services is an integral part of our Infrastructure Directorate, specifically within the Civil Works & Presentation unit. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of cleansing services aimed at ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming public environments. You will lead cleansing teams, translating service plans into actionable operations while focusing on safety practices and continuous improvement.
This position reports directly to the Public Presentation Manager and requires effective coordination of resources and performance monitoring to meet agreed-upon service standards.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a motivated and experienced candidate who possesses strong operational leadership skills and a customer-focused mindset. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in coordinating service delivery teams in public-facing roles, particularly within cleansing or similar operational services.
* Relevant operational, trade, or supervisory qualifications.
* Currently valid Class C Driver's Licence and the ability to pass Working with Children and National Criminal checks.
* Demonstrated experience in managing teams with a focus on safety and efficiency.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Your ability to work autonomously, make timely decisions, and adapt to changing circumstances will be vital to your success in this role. Experience in local government operations and working with contractors is highly desirable.
