Job description:
As a Functional Consultant within our team, you will provide domain expertise and functional leadership for the implementation of an Asset Performance Management (APM) solution on the AVEVA platform. This role ensures that business processes, maintenance practices, and asset management requirements are effectively translated into system functionality.
This role can be based in any of Australia's major cities. It will require some travel to New Zealand - therefore only Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents will be considered.
You will play a key role in:
• Gathering analysing, and documenting business requirements for maintenance and asset performance processes.
• Mapping maintenance and reliability processes to AVEVA capabilities and recommend optimisations.
• Configuring and validating functional components of the AVEVA platform according to business needs.
• Supporting integration with other IT/OT systems (e.g., CMMS, ERP, OT Historian, …) and ensureing data consistency and accuracy.
• Providing subject-matter expertise in maintenance, reliability, and asset performance best practices.
• Supporting UAT, functional testing, and training activities for end users.
• Assisting in developing functional documentation, process guides, and training materials.
Your profile:
* Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in Asset Performance Management, Maintenance, or Reliability programs.
* Strong maintenance or APM domain knowledge, preferably in manufacturing or asset-intensive industries.
* Hands-on experience with Asset Information Management, Asset Strategy Optimisation, PI System, or similar asset performance software is highly desirable.
* Experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, and solution configuration.
* Familiarity with change management, UAT, and end-user training in large-scale digital programs.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
