About the Speech Pathologist Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, complex speech pathology services to adult patients at Wagga Base Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative speech pathology services for adults with communication and feeding difficulties.
* Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
* Ensuring client care is delivered within professional, organisational, legal and ethical boundaries and reflects evidence-based practice and knowledge.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology with eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
* Advanced speech pathology clinical knowledge, skills and experience, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice.
* Well-developed time management skills, written and verbal communication, and IT skills including an ability or willingness to use telehealth as a mode of delivery of clinical care.
