We are currently looking for a passionate, highly dedicated and organised Sous Chef to join the team in our private dining room, Sovereign, a space exclusive to our most high-profile guests. You will be given the responsibility of supporting our Chef de Cuisine, Carolyne Helmy, and assist with leading the team, always ensuring consistency in high quality product and service standards. This signature dining team also supports the dining experience of guests at The Darling, our award-winning luxury boutique hotel. What are we looking for? Senior Chef experience required in a 5-star environment or large restaurant Previous experience in a fine dining operation (highly regarded) Experience driving quality and consistency, with a passion for a diverse range of food and a keen desire for continuous learning Ability to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchens Previous knowledge of food and labour cost controls A warm, naturally engaging personality that takes pride in delivering a memorable product Basic computer skills essential Full working rights to commit to 40 hours a week which can include day shifts, evenings, weekend and public holidays What can we offer?
