Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to the Manager of CFA, including high-level, executive clerical, human resources, operational, financial resources, and secretarial support.
* Offer high-level complex data and administrative support to the Clinical Financial Analytics Team (CFA), ensuring efficient operation and smooth data request flow.
* Coordinate and deliver the data literacy program, developing complex technical and user documentation, including data classification, cataloguing, storing, and maintaining records and information assets to a high standard.
* Coordinate data analysis, research, and reporting services to enhance data governance and optimize hospital activity data collection. Support business improvement processes for a high-performing statewide health and hospital system.
* Assist in developing systems, protocols, training, and education to improve understanding and usability of business intelligence systems across the Department.
Skill Outline
* Highly advanced executive support skills, organizational skills, judgment, and attention to detail. High-level administrative skills, including preparing confidential documents, meeting coordination, and handling correspondence.
* Knowledge and experience in contemporary office management practices and protocols, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn other software.
* Experience in utilizing information systems and analyzing data using basic statistical principles, with proficiency in relevant software for data storage, presentation, and evaluation.

The Team
CFA (Clinical and Financial Analytics) is a dynamic team within MRA (Monitoring, Reporting and Analysis)/SMR (System Management and Reform) of the Department of Health. The team collaborates with clinical and operational leaders to define data reporting and predictive analysis needs, ensuring hospital data is reproducible, clearly defined, and extracted from core systems. They develop data models to predict future hospital trends, supporting decision-making. The team comprises 8 professionals with expertise across Health, Mathematics, Process Engineering, IT, Computer Science, and Business Analysis, fostering a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.

Position Details
Permanent full-time, day shift, 76 hours per fortnight, starting as soon as possible. Hours are negotiable.
Note: The selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies for twelve months from the date of advertisement.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range: $81,915 to $94,263 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation. Salary packaging options are available, including benefits up to $9,010 for living expenses and $2,650 for meal entertainment annually.

Desirable Criteria
Relevant tertiary education or equivalent, experience in health analytics, current Driver’s Licence.
