KU Kintaiba is a 59-place Long Day Care service nestled in the peaceful bushland setting of the University of Newcastle campus. Surrounded by native flora and birdsong, our centre offers a rare blend of tranquillity and inspiration, a place where children and educators alike are encouraged to explore, connect, and grow.

Our purpose-built, architecturally designed facility includes four bright, spacious rooms tailored to support children aged from birth to 5 years. Each space is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection through play and inquiry-based learning.

We are proud to be rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard by the NSW Department of Education, a testament to our commitment to high-quality education and care.

Operating Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, KU Kintaiba provides a supportive, inclusive environment where educators are truly valued. The Role

We are looking for a Diploma Qualified educator to join the team on a permanent part-time basis 8 hours a day on Wednesday to Friday.

Of course, you will need:

* Relevant experience
* An ACCEQA recognised Diploma in Early Childhood,
* Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children,
* Current Working with Children Check
* Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)
