Are you a project delivery professional passionate about engineering, safety, and high-performance asset management? We're looking for motivated
Project Coordinators
to lead and support the delivery of capital and maintenance projects that are critical to GPC's port operations.
As a Project Coordinator at GPC, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our bulk handling infrastructure—such as ship loaders, wharf facilities, and complex control systems—remains safe, reliable, and future-ready.
About the Role
In this diverse and hands-on role, you'll manage the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, from scoping and planning to execution, commissioning, and handover. You will be responsible for:
* Coordinating contractors and internal teams during the construction phase
* Managing contracts, procurement plans, risk and safety processes
* Monitoring project progress, cost control, and compliance with environmental and engineering standards
* Supporting commissioning and operational readiness
* Maintaining alignment with GPC's values and safety-first culture
What You'll Bring
We're seeking a proactive, safety-conscious, and values-driven professional with:
* Associate Diploma in Engineering or equivalent (mandatory)
* Strong field experience in heavy industry construction projects
* Knowledge of contractor management, commissioning, and construction techniques
* Proven ability to manage timelines, schedule, budgets, and project risk
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Class C Driver's Licence (mandatory)
* MSIC or ability to obtain
Desirable qualifications include:
* WHS qualifications
* Project Management certification
* Planning & scheduling experience
* Supervision experience
