Client Responsibilities
Your role will be based around the requirements of your client.
* Personal care, with a focus on grooming and presentation. (When we go out, we all want to feel good)
* When going out with a client, we are not accompanying someone, we are a companion (there is a huge difference – no sneaky checks on social media for us we are too busy having a good time, engaged with our client).
* If help is needed changing the sheets, pegging out the washing and bringing it in, folding and putting it away, we make sure the kitchen benches are cleaned, the floor is washed; things are done properly. Not a cursory wipe over for us. We want our client to be bragging to their friends that they have found the best assistance, not comparing our work to the way it should be done.
* When assisting someone with their personal hygiene we clean up the bathroom, or the toilet, if we see something that needs attention, we care enough to ask about it and do it without any fanfare.

Requirements for Success
* Relevant Certificate III qualification essential
* Experience working alongside the elderly in community or aged care settings or community disability support
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Access to a road worthy vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
* Open Driver's License
* Excellent communication - both oral & written
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with people who have mental health challenges.
* Safe worker check
* Working rights within Australia
* Have a smart device with ability to use apps.
* Genuine referees who you have worked for recently.
