The Fire Equipment Technician supports the Workshop Supervisor and Leading Hands in ensuring that services are delivered promptly and meet customer requirements as well as the Workshop's Quality Objectives. Description Under the direction of the Workshop Supervisor and/or Leading Hand, carry out deliveries and collection of portable fire equipment at satellite depots, fire and rescue sites, and customer locations. Under the direction of the Workshop Supervisor and/or Leading Hands, carry out pressure testing, refilling, repair, and maintenance of portable fire equipment in accordance with Australian Standards and established Workshop Standard Work Procedures. Profile Accepts personal resposibilty for the quality and timeline of work. Can be relied upon to achieve results with little need for supervision. Complies with policices, procedures, workflows and instructions. Displays a high level of effort and commitment towards perfroming work; demonsatrtes responsible behabiour. Build and maintains internal and external customer satisfaction with the services offered by the organisation. Idwentfies what needs to be done and proactively takes appropraite action.
