About the role
Join Patterson Building Group as a Project Manager and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality construction projects across NSW. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of complex construction projects, from planning and scheduling to budget management and stakeholder engagement. This full-time position is based in our Mascot office.
What you'll be doing
* Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
* Manage all aspects of project execution, including coordinating with subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
* Collaborate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standard
* Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, and manage supplier relationships
* Provide regular progress updates and financial reporting to senior management
* Identify and resolve issues proactively, and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency
* Mentor and support junior members of the project team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
What we're looking for
* Bachelor's Degree of Building, or Construction Management
* 5+ years post graduate experience working on construction projects
* Working knowledge of all major building trades
* A technical working knowledge of the building design process
* A strong understanding of contract law
* Solid work history with reputable firms
* Financial acumen to ensure projects run within budgetary constraints.
* Computer literate, including Intermediate to advanced MS Word, Project, Excel, Outlook
