Lengos is a dynamic and growing trading company specializing in brand representation.
We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional products and services to our retail and B2B partners.
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development /Account Manager to join our team and drive growth across key accounts in Australia.
This role will be responsible for developing large retail channels, managing key accounts, conducting sales training, and ensuring our products achieve strong presence and performance both in-store and online.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and expand partnerships with major retail channels (e.g., Costco, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi, and other strategic retailers).
Build and maintain long-term relationships with retail buyers and key stakeholders.
Develop channel strategies including product assortment, pricing, promotional planning, and inventory forecasting.
Lead business reviews, negotiate terms, and secure opportunities for improved placement and promotional visibility.
Conduct regular account representation duties to ensure consistent execution across all touchpoints.
Regularly run training sessions for agents to ensure deep understanding of Narwal products, features, and brand standards.
Create training materials, SOPs, product guides, and performance tracking systems.
Perform in-store coaching and support field sales teams to achieve sales objectives.
Able to participate in out of hours training and events.
Ability to travel and be away from home for up to 4-5 nights / month.
Plan call cycles and customer appointments one month in advance to ensure structured and consistent account coverage.
Set channel sales targets and KPIs, monitor weekly performance, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Analyse store-level performance to identify growth opportunities and improve visibility, conversion, and merchandising.
Collaborate with Marketing to execute in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, and Finance to support channel operations and ensure seamless execution.
Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to support strategic decision-making.
Assist in product positioning, pricing strategy, and new product introduction plans.
5. Reporting & Insights
Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly reports on performance, opportunities, risks, and action plans.
Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and accelerate channel growth.
Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in B2B retail channel development, key account management, or retail sales leadership.
Proven track record working with major retailers, preferably in the Australian market.
Experience in Consumer Electronics, Smart Home, Home Appliances, or Robotics is highly advantageous.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and motivate sales teams.
Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven, with strong analytical capabilities.
High-level communication skills.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
