The Opportunity
We’re looking for an ambitious Account Director who’s equal parts strategic thinker, project leader, and relationship builder, with natural gravitas to guide clients, direct multidisciplinary teams, and drive growth. This role is ideal for an experienced AD looking to step into a GM pathway. As part of the leadership team, you will work closely with the founder to shape Blurr’s Australian presence as we enter our next phase of growth.
Part-time to scale to full-time.
Your Key Focus:
* Client Services Management - Build and nurture trusted client relationships.
* Project & Workflow Management - Scope, lead, and deliver projects on time and budget.
* Leadership & Team Direction - Manage teams, providing clear direction and accountability.
* Strategic Growth - Identify account growth and new business opportunities.
* Commercial Management - Drive financial performance on your projects.
* Operational Efficiency - Champion operational efficiency and workflow improvements
What You’ll Bring:
* 6+ years of end-to-end account/project management within branding and design.
* Deep understanding of branding processes across strategy, identity, and rollout.
* Proven project leadership with strong commercial acumen; ownership of scoping, budget management and forecasting.
* Confidence in leading senior client conversations and presenting with clarity.
* Familiarity with tools like Streamtime, HubSpot, Google Suite and Figma.
Highly Regarded:
* Clear, calm and confident communication style.
* Ability to question and scope complex branding projects.
* Design team schedule management or operational leadership experience.
* P&L understanding or financial forecast management within a creative studio.
* Experience facilitating workshops and/or supporting brand strategy development.
