Procurement Specialist Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain activities that support our engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, components, and services required for engineering projects.
* Prepare and issue purchase orders in alignment with project timelines and budget requirements.
* Collaborate with engineering, project management, and production teams to understand technical specifications and ensure procurement supports project goals.
* Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
* Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation in compliance with company policies.
* Resolve supplier-related issues such as delays, quality concerns, and payment discrepancies.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in an engineering, construction, or manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and industrial materials.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
* Knowledge of ISO standards and procurement compliance regulations is a plus.
