Key aspects of this role include:
Portfolio Analysis: Design and implement effective strategies for portfolio analysis, profit and retention.
New Business Evaluation: Evaluate and accept or decline new lines, renewals and endorsements within delegated authority.
Broker and Account Management: Manage relationships with assigned territory brokers and key accounts through proactive communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Sales Pipeline Management: Actively manage sales pipeline to identify and develop new business prospects.
Claim Monitoring: Monitor and report on status of open claims for assigned accounts.
To succeed in this role, you will require strong underwriting capability with solid knowledge of property insurance. You should also possess judgement, experience and confidence to make recommendations for coverage and policies, as well as ability to work well with people and influence decisions.
