The Opportunity
A well established Australian FMCG manufacturer based in Bendigo is seeking a Safety & Wellbeing Compliance Administrator to support regulatory, safety and operational compliance across a busy production site. This is a practical, site-based role suited to someone who enjoys structure, detail and working closely with operations. You'll sit at the centre of safety, compliance and reporting, helping ensure the business meets its legal obligations while strengthening safety performance on the ground.
Your responsibilities

* Monitoring compliance with WHS, GMP and environmental standards
* Maintaining registers, permits, licences, certifications and documentation
* Supporting internal and external audits, regulatory inspections and customer assessments
* Assisting with incident investigations, root cause analysis and tracking corrective and preventative actions
* Preparing weekly and monthly safety and wellbeing reporting
* Liaising with production, maintenance, QA and risk teams to ensure processes align with compliance standards
* Supporting compliance training and awareness initiatives across the site
* Staying current with legislative and regulatory changes impacting manufacturing
About You
You'll bring experience from FMCG, manufacturing or another high risk environment where safety and compliance are core to operations. You're detail oriented, proactive and comfortable working across multiple priorities. You understand that strong compliance frameworks protect people and performance.
We're looking for:
* Experience in safety, wellbeing or compliance within an operational environment
* Working knowledge of OHS, Chain of Responsibility and related legislation
* Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them within a business context
* Strong organisational and administrative capability
* Confident stakeholder engagement skills across shop floor and leadership
* Experience with contractor management systems is advantageous
* Formal qualifications in Safety, Compliance or a related field are highly regarded
