Pre-Construction Project Manager - Fit Out

Your new role
The Pre-Construction Project Manager will take ownership of the non-pricing process and deliverables from project opportunity pursuit through to tender submission and project team handover. This newly created role is critical in setting the strategy and approach for each project opportunity.
Working closely with internal teams (Sales & Marketing, Estimating & Construction Management) and external stakeholders (clients, consultants, sub-consultants, building owners and operators), the successful candidate will:
* Develop project methodology and management plans
* Prepare scopes of work and draft tender programmes
* Build proposed project teams and set preliminaries
* Conduct contract and commercial reviews
* Communicate effectively with senior business leaders and executives
What you'll need to succeed
* Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (highly preferred)
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Pre-Construction Project Manager
* Minimum 8 years overall experience in commercial fit-out & refurbishment
* Expert proficiency in MS Project and pre-construction process management
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
* Highly driven, detail-oriented, and experienced in project lifecycle management, scheduling/phasing, supply chain, and design & engineering principles
* Previous experience across various ranks (Cadet, Contract Administration, Project Engineer, Project Management) highly regarded
* Recent experience in a Pre-Construction role within fit-out and refurbishment is mandatory
