Role Overview
NTT has a fantastic opportunity for a Data Centre Engineer in the Technology Transformation business unit to work with leading vendors delivering quality networking outcomes to clients.
Responsibilities
* Ensure client satisfaction by engaging professionally and meeting complex solution requirements onsite.
* Compile and maintain project administration, writing design documents, implementation and test plans, and supporting Project Managers with key documentation.
* Execute installations and migrations to a high level of quality, following stringent change control and NTT's Primer methodology.
* Apply specialist knowledge to deliver Discovery, Design, Implementation/Migration and Test Plans.
* Demonstrate strong behavioural skills: teamwork, collaboration, proactive problem solving, and working well under pressure.
* Commit to continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications and Experience
* 5+ years of Professional Services & Project Delivery experience.
* Good understanding of business principles and excellent client engagement, communication, and relationship‐building skills.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving ability.
* SME in vendor technologies required.
* Proficiency in cloud transform/migrate (Azure), on‐prem (VMWare vCenter, ESXi, NSX‐T/V), server/storage (Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp; experience in at least two of three), data protection (Commvault, Veeam, Dell Avamar; experience in at least two of three), and extras (Express Route, Multicloud Provisioning Tool, Cloud Discovery Tool such as Device 42).
