About the Department

The Australian Antarctic Division (AAD), part of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, delivers Australia's Antarctic Program. Its goals are to maintain the Antarctic Treaty System, protect the Antarctic environment, understand Antarctica's role in the global climate system, and conduct scientific research of national significance.

The Assets & Technology Branch provides and maintains critical equipment and infrastructure, with the Infrastructure Delivery Section leading construction projects at Australia's Antarctic and sub-Antarctic station.

About the Role The AAD requires a Document Control Coordinator to support its infrastructure delivery team on a temporary basis. The role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in construction project documentation and EDMS implementation who can contribute immediately.

Key Duties

* Implement and configure InEight TeamBinder (EDMS) to meet project needs
* Establish and maintain document control processes (creation, approval, archiving)
* Ensure version control, metadata tagging, and compliance with documentation standards
* Collaborate with internal teams and contractors for requirements gathering
* Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accessibility of project records

Essential Attributes / Skills / Experience

* 3+ years' experience in document control/records management
* Strong TeamBinder/InEight knowledge (implementation/configuration)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities independently

Desirable Skills / Experience

* Familiarity with SharePoint or Content Manager
* Understanding of ISO 9001 standards
* Experience delivering user training/onboarding for EDMS
