About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Client Services Officer to join a well-established, full-service financial advisory firm based in Newcastle. The role sits within a high-performing financial planning team and is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‐on in client services, administration, and implementation support while working closely with experienced Financial Advisers. You will play a key role in supporting advisers and ensuring smooth delivery of high-quality client outcomes across advice, implementation, and ongoing service.
* Preparing client documentation including SOAs, ROAs, applications, and supporting paperwork
* Assisting with client onboarding and ongoing servicing requirements
* Implementing investment, superannuation, and insurance strategies
* Liaising with clients, advisers, and external product providers
* Maintaining accurate client records and meeting compliance obligations
* Coordinating review meetings and managing workflow tasks across the team
Skills & experience
* Previous experience in a CSO / Financial Planning Assistant role (essential)
* Strong understanding of financial planning processes, advice documentation, and compliance requirements
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Confident communicator with a client‐first mindset
* Proactive, team‐oriented, and adaptable approach to work
