Job Title: Senior RF Development Specialist
* Develop custom RF & microwave electronics for quantum sensor prototypes and eventual productization.
* Design miniaturized RF electronics subsystems based on bench-top prototypes.
* Model and simulate microwave/RF signal transmission to optimize system performance.
* Design, optimize, and fabricate custom antennas for near-field operation.
* Ensure electronics systems are ruggedized for field operation.
* Manage the delivery of complex hardware prototypes, ensuring technical quality, performance, and reliability.
* Serve as the domain expert for RF electronics and systems.
* Lead and mentor hardware engineers and technicians as a senior team member.
* A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Physics, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience is required.
* Proven experience developing RF/microwave circuit boards is also essential.
* Experience working with scientists and engineers, CAD software/design experience, modeling microwave transmission using CST Studio or similar, and taking designs from prototype to production are desirable but not essential.
