The Opportunity
Securecorp is seeking an experienced and professional Security Supervisor to join our team at a prestigious corporate and manufacturing site for our client located at Northern Suburbs in Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team and manage high profile client.
Reporting to the Senior Security Manager Operations and Securecorp Business Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the site, staff and visitors, while upholding the highest standards of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of Control Room Officers, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated.
* Manage daily security operations, including access control, CCTV monitoring, patrols, and incident response.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters on-site, liaising with CSL leadership and internal stakeholders.
* Develop and implement security procedures to mitigate risk and improve operational efficiency.
* Take charge of emergency situations, coordinating with emergency services and internal teams.
* Conduct regular briefings and training sessions for the security team.
* Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed incident reports.
* Conduct investigation.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and global security frameworks.
Your Skills And Experience
* A minimum of two years of security experience in a pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment is essential.
* Proven experience in a security supervisory or team leader role, preferably within a complex facility environment.
* A current and valid Security License (VIC).
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
* Current annual flu vaccination (proof must be provided)
* Vaccinated against Hepatitis B (proof must be provided)
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong report writing and administrative skills.
* Impeccable professional presentation and a customer-focused attitude.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
