GEM Switchboards is a locally owned and operated electrical manufacturing company. The GEM team have been producing quality, low voltage switchboards for over 60 years for the commercial, industrial and telecommunication sectors.
We offer full turnkey solutions to our clients from design, manufacturing through to onsite commissioning. About the Role
GEM is looking for a motivated and reliable full-time Electrical Fitter to join our busy Workshop in West Gosford. You’ll work as part of a skilled team, building high-quality electrical switchboards and control panels for a range of clients.
Qualifications & experience
Electrical trade qualified (Fitter or Mechanic)
Experience as an Electrical Trade Assembler
Previous work in Electrical Switchboard Manufacturing
Busbar experience (advantageous but not essential)
Tasks & responsibilities
Interpret general arrangement drawings
Interpret single line diagrams, wiring and control schematics
Assembly, fit-out switchboards and control panels
