About the role
This is a full-time position based in Mandurah. As the Fleet Manager at Mandurah Boat Hire, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our boat hire and charter operations. You will work closely with the Director to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of our operations.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting with the overall management of the hire and charter fleet
* Overseeing the daily activities of the boat hire, charter and maintenance crews
* Coordinating the scheduling and rostering of staff
* Ensuring excellent customer service is provided to all clients
* Assisting with the implementation of policies and procedures to improve efficiency
* Providing hands-on support in the boat maintenance and repair process as needed
What we're looking for
* Essential - Marine qualifications such as a Coxswain NC1 or Master 5 (NC24)
* Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
* Hands-on technical skills and experience with boat maintenance and repair
* Proficient in using relevant software and technology to support operations
* A positive, proactive and solutions-focused mindset
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
